Benni holds Master’s degrees in Industrial Psychology from Brooklyn College and in Social Work from New York University. Benni gained crucial experience in serving the needs of seniors, developmentally disabled children and adults along with their family caregivers through her work in long term care facilities throughout New York and New Jersey. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and has worked as a social worker, Director and Administrator throughout her career.  Learn more.

Sherrie is a results-oriented leader with a distinguished career in non-profit management, business development, and project oversight. As the Chief Operating Officer of Spectrum Care Management and Counseling, Sherrie brings her extensive expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership to ensure the organization’s success. With a Master’s in Business Administration focused on Human Resources and a background in leading impactful initiatives, Sherrie is committed to fostering strong relationships with community leaders, medical professionals, and key stakeholders. Her drive and vision continue to propel Spectrum towards achieving its mission of providing exceptional care and support to the individuals we serve.

Robin has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kutztown University. She has over twenty-one years of experience coordinating residential services and overseeing their daily operations, for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Social Worker and Quality Assurance Coordinator

Nancy holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and has completed Graduate Studies in Rehabilitation Counseling with the hearing impaired community. She has extensive experience in vocational services with the adult special needs population and is a member of a professional network of vocational and school transition coordinators.

Corrinne holds a master’s degree in social work. She has worked as a social worker in various settings such as nursing homes, with youth in therapeutic foster homes and with individuals with developmental disabilities. With this background she brings tons of resources and relationships that have helped those we serve.

Toni Lyn is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. She earned her Bachelor’s in Criminology with a concentration in Sociology. Toni Lyn has gained experience with case management as she previously worked as a Family Service Specialist for children and families.

Support Coordinator Supervisor

Megan graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She then received her Master’s in Social Work at Ramapo College of NJ. She is now a Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey. Megan has a background in providing case management to vulnerable populations, and advising families on community resources and referral programs. Megan aims to improve the well-being and functionality of individuals and groups within her community.

Jennifer received her degree in psychology from East Stroudsburg University and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Jennifer has a background in case management with vulnerable populations in residential facilities. Additionally, she has extensive experience in working with those who have suffered abuse and neglect, including crisis management and intervention. Jennifer has also worked on a webinar series about living well with physical disabilities. She is passionate about finding resources to help others achieve goals and reach their  aspirations.

Rachel is a committed social services professional with a Bachelor of Social Work from Rutgers University and extensive experience in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Currently a Support Coordination Supervisor at Spectrum Care Management and Counseling , Rachel excels in fostering a supportive environment that aligns with individuals needs and values and maintaining strong client relationships. Previously, Rachel served as a Support Coordinator for 5 years and held roles in the New Jersey Judiciary and the Department of Children & Families, where she developed key skills in case management and legal documentation. Known for her leadership, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to client satisfaction, Rachel is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for those she serves.

Social Worker

Sheila earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Ramapo College and has been dedicated to the field for over 25 years. Throughout her extensive career, Sheila has taken on various roles, including case management for individuals with developmental disabilities, homebound seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those with traumatic brain injuries. She has also worked in vocational rehabilitation and is a Certified Vocational Counselor. Sheila has extensive knowledge of Medicaid and has served on the Board of the New Jersey Statewide Independent Living Council, where she played a significant role in the development of Medicaid Waiver transitions and programs.

Nicole came to Spectrum as a Social Work intern and graduated from Rutgers University with her Master’s in Social Work. Additionally, she has a Master’s Degree in Health Administration.  She has developed a wonderful rapport with the individuals and families she works with as well as the providers. We are happy to welcome Nicole to our team.

Nicole is an experienced Support Coordinator with a Bachelor’s in Special Education and a career spanning roles as a teacher and administrator. She has a deep commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. Nicole started as a Special Education Teacher, promoting inclusive learning, and later excelled in administrative positions, showcasing her leadership and dedication to excellence. In her current role, she focuses on guiding individuals towards their goals and providing tailored support through expert case management. Nicole is also advancing her expertise by pursuing a Master’s in Counseling, demonstrating her continuous commitment to professional growth and holistic support. Her career is marked by a strong advocacy for inclusivity and a deep care for the well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Jackie came into support coordination from previously being in sales and marketing. After learning about support coordination and how it plays such a vital role in assisting both the individuals and families, she learned quickly that this would be a job she would love. Combining her personal knowledge of developmental disabilities with her professional background, Jackie was thrilled to assume her current role. Jackie values the relationships she has gained from the individuals and families that she serves.

Additionally, she has experience assessing individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. Karen is a very compassionate person and cares deeply about helping others.

Additional experience in housing and behavioral health allow her to explore community resources with ease.

Isabel is a graduate of Ramapo College with her master’s in Social Work. She is a passionate and driven person with desire and motivation to empower those who need advocacy and support. She has experience in the school system on the IEP team, has facilitated social skills groups and has guided students to best manage their academic needs. She has served the needs of many vulnerable populations by providing an empathetic and therapeutic approach to individuals that are in crisis situations.

Kamahrea “Mahrie” holds a Bachelors in Social Science from William Paterson University. She is an established case manager with extensive assessment experience determining the need for therapeutic medical, psychosocial and psychiatric services, implementing then monitoring those services. She has additional experience in housing ensuring housing vouchers are maintained and residences are properly managed.

She has a background in case management with vulnerable populations with experience in crisis intervention. She has a proficient knowledge of housing vouchers through the department of community affairs and is passionate about helping others.

Jamie’s background includes working with individuals with disabilities both individually and in group settings, as well as with formerly incarcerated individuals. Jamie has extensive experience in macro practice work. Jamie is deeply dedicated to assisting those in need and is passionate about providing comprehensive support wherever it is required.

Prior to becoming part of the Spectrum team, Christine worked as an ABA therapist in public and private schools as well as in the home setting.  Christine has a passion for helping and supporting both individuals with disabilities and their families. She is dedicated to providing services to those in need.

She has over 12 years of experience working in education and has served as an Adoption Writer for DCPP in Northern New Jersey for 4 years. Additionally, she has experience as an ABA therapist, assisting a family with a child who needed social skills and anger management training. Bilyana is a strong advocate for special education law and the inclusion of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Rob holds a BA from Rutgers University with a background in writing and reporting. He has authored three books on raising a special needs child. Rob has extensive experience working with the special needs population in various academic and educational settings, bringing a parent’s sensitivity and understanding to his role in supporting individuals with special needs.

She holds an MSW from the Rutgers School of Social Work and serves as a member of the Alumni Council.

Lorrett holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and is a Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey. She brings extensive experience in serving the needs of the elderly and individuals with developmental disabilities in both community and institutional settings. Her expertise spans working with seniors, hospice care, and developmental disabilities, complemented by managerial roles in healthcare. Lorrett is a collaborative team player skilled in facilitating support groups, leading interdisciplinary meetings, and developing comprehensive care plans.
