My favorite thing about working at Spectrum is the meaningful purpose behind my role. I find it incredibly rewarding to support the families I work with and to witness their appreciation and gratitude. It’s a daily reminder of the positive impact we’re making.

On top of that, the workplace culture is incredibly supportive and encouraging. Whenever a question or challenge comes up, my supervisor and teammates are quick to collaborate and offer help, even while working remotely. One of the most valuable aspects of working at Spectrum is the consistent support provided by our supervisors and administrative teams. They are always willing to assist and offer guidance whenever needed, creating a strong sense of teamwork and reliability.
Another highlight of working at Spectrum is the meaningful support we provide to our clients. Whether it’s helping them access resources and services to achieve their goals, resolving Medicaid-related issues, or assisting with program transitions (such as moving from Supports to CCP), we are dedicated to showing up for our clients and making a positive impact in their lives.
One of the most rewarding aspects of working at Spectrum is seeing our clients achieve their goals and knowing we played a part in supporting their success. I also really appreciate Summer Fridays, the opportunity to collaborate with my team, and the flexibility of remote work. What’s most important to me working at Spectrum Care is the purpose of the work and really ensuring my clients are receiving the best possible care and services provided. It’s the smiles on our clients’ faces that make me feel I am making a difference. My manager, Rachel, has been incredibly supportive and helpful when I need it. Kalya, Liz and Katlynn have also been great mentors to learn from and work with.
My favorite part of working with Spectrum is the sense of community I feel amongst my coworkers. Working remotely has its perks and gives us the chance to be creative in how we connect with each other.  Whether video calling or fun meet ups we always find a way to relate beyond the barriers of our job.
One memorable moment for me was when I walked into a day program facility to visit a client. She was visibly excited and so happy to see me! She proudly showed the staff and her peers that I was there to visit. Seeing how happy she was made me feel like my work is truly making a difference.
I believe I make a real impact at Spectrum because my efforts and hard work are recognized and appreciated by both my team and leadership. Whether it’s through the ideas I share, the results I help achieve, or the support I provide to others, I can clearly see how my contributions support the company’s mission of serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At Spectrum, we are like one big family. Everyone looks out for each other, making it a safe and supportive place to be. Management is always willing to answer questions and never makes you feel silly for asking for help. Spectrum has given me a wonderful opportunity to meet a variety of people and make a difference in their lives through the services we provide. What I enjoy most about my job is being out in the field, getting to know my clients, providers, and families better, and staying connected with them.
My favorite thing about working for Spectrum is the story and drive behind the woman who started it all. I first met Benni in 2018, and you could immediately feel her passion for helping others reach their fullest potential. She has built an agency filled with caring, creative, and resourceful support coordinators.
One of the perks I value most is the flexibility this job offers. The ability to manage my schedule allows me to be present for my family while still meeting professional responsibilities. This balance has made a huge difference in my quality of life. It’s empowering to work in an environment that supports both career growth and personal well-being.
